Reigate and Banstead Junior Citizen event.

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters was the venue for this year's Reigate and Banstead Junior Citizen event which ran from the 25 June to 6 July. Junior Citizen is alive and kicking in 7 of the 11 boroughs in Surrey, and Child Safety Media coordinate 4 of these. To date, Child Safety Media coordinate 25 child safety events nationwide - in Surrey, London, Manchester, Merseyside, and Cheshire, educating approximately 30,000 children annually.

In Reigate & Banstead, all primary schools are invited to attend. This year, approximately 1,000 Year 6 pupils, from 18 local schools, attended over a 2-week period.

A big thank you to the participating agencies:

Surrey Police, Surrey Fire & Rescue Service, RNLI, British Transport Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, Surrey Search & Rescue (SURSAR) and our sponsor, Reigate and Banstead Local Committee.
